We host an array of different private parties, from childrens or adult birthday parties, corporate or teambuilding events, charity events and hen/stag dos and we would love to host you for your special event!

Your party will be held in our lovely pottery room and can cater to up to 15 guests for a two hour session. You will have a pottery host who will settle your guests in and be on hand through out the DIY handbuilding pottery experience.

Adult Private Events

Up to 15 people

For adult group’s, you will be able to make either a plant pot, pot, mug, jug, vase or even a salt pig. Please refer to our Adult DIY Handbuilding page for more information.

You are welcome to bring alcoholic drinks and we can supply glasses, but we also have a selection of non alcoholic drinks, coffees and tea’s available to purchase in our cafe area.

Please refrain from bringing any food and snacks into the pottery room to comply with our health and safety standards.

All of your guests will have their wonderful creations fired and clear glazed by the Terra Cafe team and they will be ready 6 weeks later to collect or we can have them packaged and posted to you for a small fee.

For adults parties, you are also welcome to request a booking time that is outside of our normal opening hours.

Kids Parties

Up to 10 children

For children’s parties (ages 6+) the DIY session involves creating anything from a monster inspired creation to a unicorn plant pot. Our lovely host will help settle the children in with their DIY Handbuilding, be on hand to guide them through the process, give them tips and tricks and to inspire their creativity. Please refer to our Kid’s DIY Handbuilding page for more information.

All of the children will have their wonderful creations fired and clear glazed by the Terra Cafe team and they will be ready 6 weeks later to collect or have posted.

Up to 10 children

If your child’s party is for age 5 and under, the children will be provided with air drying clay, an abundance of tools and paint to let them explore and get wild with clay. They will be able to take home what they create. Please refer to our ‘Play with Clay’ 5 and under page for more information.

We also provide party decorations to make the space extra magical on the day.

Please let us know if you’d like to bring a cake for the child’s event, so we can accomodate this for you and still keep within our health and safety guidelines. We can also provide plates and cutlery.

We require that there are at least 1 adult present per 5 children booked in. Parents/Guardians must be present for the duration of event. Please note the pottery sessions are DIY and not a taught session but we are available to help through out the experience.
